Voices from the Vacant Lot

SDC’s annual social provides you with the opportunity to catch up with old friends, make valuable new contacts and share info on your projects while you groove to the beat of African drums, La Bataola’s Latin music (complete with a feathered chorus line!), Newcastle Conservatorium guitarist Jack Dawson and Post-traditionalist singing band, Voices from the Vacant Lot, as they blend harmony, rhythm and a myriad of languages to create a listening experience which is subtle, moving, often surprising and always entertaining.
